Bringing Lebanon's Energy Sector Together

Organized as a major platform for the energy sector, LGEE 2026 brought together participants from Lebanon, the Arab region and international markets.

Under the theme “Energy in Motion: Facilitating, Expediting, Expanding,” discussions during the three-day event covered areas including renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy storage, energy security, investment, financing and the development of Lebanon's power sector.

For Lebanon, these discussions are particularly important.

Businesses and industrial facilities continue to look for ways to manage energy costs, improve reliability and reduce their dependence on conventional sources of electricity. At the same time, solar energy and battery storage are becoming an increasingly important part of how companies approach their long-term energy requirements.

ASACO at LGEE 2026

ASACO participated in LGEE 2026 as part of its continued involvement in Lebanon's renewable energy sector.

Throughout the event, our team had the opportunity to meet with developers, investors, businesses, municipalities, institutions and other professionals working across the energy industry.

These discussions reflected many of the questions we hear from businesses across Lebanon today:

• How can companies reduce their energy costs?
• How can factories reduce their reliance on generators?
• Where does battery storage fit into a commercial solar investment?
• How can businesses build an energy system that remains reliable over the long term?

For ASACO, these are not simply industry discussions. They are challenges we work on every day through commercial and industrial solar projects, battery energy storage and complete renewable energy solutions.

Solar and Energy Storage Are Becoming Business Decisions

One of the clearest developments in Lebanon's energy market is that solar is increasingly being considered as part of a company's broader business strategy.

For factories and commercial facilities, the conversation is often no longer simply about installing solar panels.

It is about reducing operating expenses, managing generator consumption, improving energy availability and making better use of the electricity produced on-site.

Battery energy storage is also becoming an increasingly important part of that discussion.

At LGEE 2026, energy storage was among the topics addressed as part of the wider conversation surrounding cleaner, more reliable and more resilient energy systems.
